Taymur Ahmad
Taymur Ahmad is the Founder and CEO of actnano. Prior to founding actnano in 2012, Mr. Ahmad had nearly 20 years of manufacturing management experience with Fortune 50 companies such as Alcoa and Philips Electronics. He is a member of the Forbes Business Council and is a regular contributor on Forbes.com. His success stories have been featured in numerous industry-leading publications such as NBC’s Start Me Up, John McElroy’s Autoline, Automotive Industries magazine and USA Today. Among other accolades, Mr. Ahmad has been awarded “Visionary of the Year” by Surface Mount Technology magazine and chosen as one of the top 50 CEOs in the world by Dell’s Center for Entrepreneurs. He is a member of the Dell Founders 50 and the Philips Alumni Club, as well as a long-time volunteer for Youth Advocate Program International. Mr. Ahmad is proficient in 5 languages. He earned his MBA from Business School Lausanne in Switzerland, and his engineering degree from the University of Iowa.

Jim Sheridan
Jim Sheridan is the Chief Operating Officer of actnano Inc. overseeing Sales, Operations and Strategic Initiatives. Prior to joining actnano, Mr. Sheridan was an Executive in Accenture’s High Tech, Industry Strategy Consulting Practice. His experience comprises over 16 years of assisting Fortune 1000 clients with their most challenging and urgent issues including growth strategy, operating model development, operations improvement and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Accenture, he was a Director in Gartner’s Go-to-Market Strategy Practice where he delivered growth and performance advice to senior executives in technology industries. Additionally, Mr. Sheridan has held leadership positions at several high growth technology startups including Scient, Think Tools AG and The Patent Board. He earned an MBA in Strategy and Operations from The Ohio State University and a BS in Marketing from Miami University. Prior to his professional career, he was a nationally ranked decathlete, competing for the VISA National Decathlon Team in preparation for the 1996 Olympic Trials.

Justin Kleingartner
Justin is the Chief Technology Officer at actnano where he leads the technical direction of actnano’s coating solutions. Prior to joining actnano, Justin worked as a senior member of the technical team at LiquiGlide, an MIT spin-out developing coatings that enable viscous liquids to slide effortlessly off of surfaces. He has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where his research focused on designing and characterizing functional coatings for a variety of applications, ranging from drag reduction to fog harvesting to oleophobic fabrics.Justin also has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University and an MS in Chemical Engineering Practice from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Ivan Ardemagni
Ivan Ardemagni is the Chief Financial Officer of actnano Inc. Mr. Ardemagni started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he spent 4 years in accounting and corporate finance, focusing on the Financial Services and REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) industries. After his MBA he spent four years at Credit Suisse in London in Investment Banking and Capital Markets, advising large European Banks and Financial Services companies. Mr. Ardemagni earned a Master of Science in General Management from Bocconi University in Milan and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
